Beribi Religious School holds Khatam Al-Quran

The Beribi Religious School Brunei III held a "khatam al-Quran" ceremony for Level VI students yesterday, to mark the completion of the reading of all 30 juz of al-Quran. The event was held at the multipurpose hall of the International Graduate Studies College in Kiulap.
The guest of honour at the ceremony was Ustazah Hjh Fatimah binti Hj Abd Ghani, Assistant Director of the Islamic Institute, who also led the recital of Surah al-Fatihah to mark the beginning of the event.
The khatam al-Quran and "takhtim" ceremonies were led by Cikgu Salmah binti Jaafar, while Ridhwan Akmal bin Abdul Majid was on hand to read the "doa khatam".
The event ended with a "Dikir Ya Manhadar" led by Cikgu Khairul bin Hj Pungut and the presentation of participation certificates to the students.

Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony For Religious School Students

Beribi - A Khatam al-Quran ceremony was held yesterday for students of Sekolah Ugama Beribi and Sekolah Ugama Pg Pekerma Setia Diraja Sahibul Bandar in Kg Mata-Mata.
The event was held at Sekolah Ugama Beribi.
A total of 35 Primary 4 and 5 students took part in the event after successfully completing the reading of 30 Juz from the Quran.
Present as the guest of honour was Ustazah Mariam bte Daud, Head of Professional Section, Islamic Studies Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The event began with the recital of surah al-fatihah led by the chief guest and followed by the reading of Quran verses by the students.
Students then performed a dikir marhaban while the sprinkling of 'bunga rampai' was performed by the invited guests comprising headmasters, teachers, as well as parents.
